Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions regarding concrete vessel sinks.

Are your sinks consistent in color?

Our concrete vessel sinks will vary only slightly in color. If you intend on using two bowls side by side please make sure your salesperson indicates this on the purchase order. We will send two sinks from the same run.

Why does the water drain slowly in my sink?

Many vessel sinks today do not have overflows. In most cases the water will drain normally. However, if this is not the case for your installation, and the plumbing is vented properly, we have found that some drain assemblies will alleviate this problem by allowing faster drainage. Kohler makes one of these assemblies (part #3327).

How do I install your sink?

Complete installation instructions may be found on this site.

Will your material stain?

Little to no discoloration will occur if routine maintenance is performed as outlined in our care and maintenance instructions available on this site and included with each product.

Do I need a special drain assembly?

Our sinks accept most conventional drain assembles which have at least 2” of threading. Drain assemblies should not include an overflow hole.

Can I under mount your sink?

No. Our sinks are designed to sit directly on top of your countertop, or to be partially recessed. The installation instructions provided will direct your installer on countertop cutting dimensions needed for your desired look.
